Reaching out to all the humans on this planet... check out this advert being broadcast across the UK:The advert has the audacity to depict a jogger running along a nice clean shoreline (@ 00:33) – as if the Gulf of Mexico disaster has been cleaned up. It hasn't. A more truthful depiction would be the fact that the amount of oil that leaked into the sea could fill ALL of the Olympic 2012 stadiums (and more). Our planet is being destroyed by oil interests.
I voiced my aggravation to the ASA (Adverting Standards Authority) for allowing this piece of propoganda to be broadcast across millions of televisions. The Complaints Executive, Laura Kelly, responded with this:
"The ASA can only act if the ad offends against widely accepted moral, social or cultural standards."
Surely I'm not the only one concerned about the lies of BP?
Let Laura Kelly know what you think:

The Olympics have yet to comment on their choice of sponsor.
